Hedgelaying in The Regent's Park

What a great start to the year and huge achievement for The Conservation Volunteers to lay the first hedge in The Regents Park. Almost 30 participants completed one of the 3 programmes of workshops in January and February 2013, leaving a fantastic habitat and legacy in the park, learning the traditional skill of hedgelaying 'southern style' and impressing the hundreds of passers-by.

Following on from this success we plan to launch a regular winter programme of hedgelaying workshops in the park, so watch this space...
