The Conservation Volunteers has just started work which will transform a green space in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The 18 month project, in partnership with The Glass Park Millennium Trust, will see the the restoration and enhancement of Glass Park in Kirk Sandall.

Footpaths and access will be improved and encroaching scrub will be cleared. The park will also get new benches, plants, trees and wildflowers.

Art installations will add extra interest. Volunteers on the project include many local people and community groups.
