National Volunteers Week: A massive thank you to all our volunteers

Volunteer celebrating

This week we’ve been putting on a range of fun activities like tree planting, bug finding and guided forest walks for new and existing volunteers to celebrate National Volunteers Week and of course, our brilliant volunteers.

National Volunteers Week has been taking place all of this week across the country and gives organisations like us the chance to recognise the outstanding contribution that volunteers make.

So whether you’ve volunteered for the first time this week or you’ve been with us for a while, we’d like to say a huge thank you!

We couldn’t have transformed local, green spaces and created healthier, happier communities without you.

And to add to our celebrations, today is World Environment Day. This day is celebrated annually, raising global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet.

So once again, on behalf of the communities who benefit from your work – and the natural environment that surrounds them – we’re incredibly grateful for the time that you volunteer to us.
