Weaving a way at the fair

Londoners busy weaving

The Conservation Volunteers weaved their way into the hearts of Londoners at this year's Green Fair.

Hundreds of Londoners joined in and got creative at Regent's Park in June, weaving bespoke trellises and hurdles for growing their own.

All the hazel and willow was coppiced from the park by our Green Gym in Camden which meets regularly to manage the parks many and biodiverse wildlife areas, and each trellis took about an hour to design and weave. Click here for more information.

Well done everyone and happy vertical growing!
