Eight members of the Kolping Youth Group, made up of young people from different parts of Germany, are spending two weeks on a work camp with the North East Conservation Action Team, staying in the popular resort of Portrush.
They have spent their first week assisting with the maintenance of coastal and riverside paths and have been enthralled with the stunning landscapes of the North Coast.
They have even braved the bracing waters of the Atlantic for their first experience of swimming in an ocean.
The team in Coleraine are delighted to have this opportunity of hosting the young people and are really impressed with their willingness to work hard and learn new skills. Our regular volunteers are enjoying the fresh input this lively group bring to the daily tasks.
