Bangor: The Bangor trainees this month have all completed their Level 2 Work Based Horticulture Training and have moved onto pastures new.

Congratulations to Che Regan, Tara McWilliams, Sebastian Westwood, Daryl Young, Sammy Farmer, Michael Maidment and Chrysoula Drakaki.

Working together as a group they are now beginning to volunteer at the Rudolph Steiner School to tidy up their gardens – well done everyone and good luck with your new venture!

Belfast: Congratulations to Kirstie Bowerman, Peter Dempsey and Ian Thomson for also completing the Level 2 course this month and welcome to the new members of the group, Ann, Garath and Philip. Working hard this month this Steps to Work group helped Belfast City Council by planting bulbs/plants in high profile bedding around the Bowling Green.

L'Derry Group: Congratulations to Will Millarkie for completing his Steps to Work programme and completing the Level 2 Certificate.

Joining David on Steps to Work, we welcome Damian to the start of his time with TCV.

Two trainees working in horticultureTraining in L'Derry is really taking off; we are expecting around 5 new trainees in November, all working together to obtain their Level 2 Award whilst learning about woodland management and installing a flower lined path at the Gransha Site – before and after photos to follow next month!
