TCV is holding a free event on 27 September at the Concrete Gardens in Glasgow for anyone interested in understanding and encouraging biodiversity within community food growing projects.
The event is open to staff, volunteers and members of existing or potential community garden and growing projects, and any other interested groups or individuals. Participants will see what's happening at the Concrete Garden and hear from a range of speakers on pollinator species, citizen science surveys, garden friendly wildlife, and the benefits of fruit trees, including Scotland's heritage varieties. It's hoped everyone will come away from the event with fresh knowledge, ideas and contacts which they can use within their own activities and growing spaces.
