The TCV employability team at Plean Country Park, near Stirling, has been busy over the past few months undertaking a range of activities including woodland management, drystone walling, path work and rhododendron clearing. And they've been transforming a neglected patch of ground into a small wildflower meadow. After a lot of hard work clearing dense vegetation and digging over the soil, the team sowed a wildflower seed mix to create a splash of colour next year to attract the butterflies, bugs and bees. The tiny seeds were mixed with wood shavings so the team could see they were sowing them evenly, as pictured. It's now just a case of waiting and letting nature take its course.
