TCV Scotland's new Spring Network Bulletin highlights the enthusiastic Northern Corridor Community Volunteers - working to enhance their local green spaces in North Lanarkshire. Some of the group's younger volunteers are pictured during a recent tree planting session in Moodiesburn.

The Bulletin has a pull-out section on some of the many ways people of all ages and experience can get involved in Citizen Science, so we can better understand the world around us. A recent willow basket making workshop is also featured, as well as the use of willow in habitat management, particularly willow ‘spiling’ on river banks. The fourth I Dig Trees campaign with OVO Energy saw 67 community groups across Scotland plant an impressive 23,000 native trees, and tree planting was one of the activities undertaken by a group of Syrian refugee children during an Arran Adventure.  And, have you ever seen a harvest mouse?
