Chilterns Green Gym

The new Chilterns Green Gym is a roaming volunteer team that visits and works on at least 16 different sites, spanning four parishes – Amersham, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter and Coles Hill.

The Chilterns Green Gym started in 2021 and runs a regular Wednesday volunteering group.

They are fun, free weekly outdoor sessions – a mix of wildlife conservation activities and green space management work, from sowing wildflower meadows and planting trees to improving wildlife ponds and clearing foot paths.

Each session is 3 hours long and is lead by a TCV project leader who provides all the tools, PPE and materials for each project.

So please do come and join us, get to know other local people interested in conservation, get some fresh air and exercise and all while making positive changes for wildlife and local communities.
