Are you the missing piece? Volunteer to support local green spaces in Scotland
You've heard our call, now come and join a community of volunteers across the country who are making an impact on nature on their doorsteps.
Volunteering with The Conservation Volunteers is fun, free, and a fantastic way to get your body moving, make new social connections, and learn something new - all at the same time. Are these things you'd like to achieve in 2025? Because volunteering with TCV means you can tick off your New Year's resolution list while giving something back too.

Join in and feel good at a green space local to you. You’ll be welcomed by a friendly, experienced team and find yourself taking part in activities such as planting trees and making homes for wildlife. Everyone can take part, no matter your ability or background.
Why you are needed
We live in challenging times. The climate and ecological emergency grows ever more pressing with declining numbers of UK species, wildflower meadows and the pollinators who rely on them. The UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries - in the bottom 10% globally. Alongside this is a disconnect from nature in people who may not have easy access to green spaces.
"No one will protect what they do not first care about, and no one will care about what they have never experienced.” TCV Vice President, Sir David Attenborough
Collectively though, we can make a difference. You can make a difference. Right now, you can take positive action by planting trees and establishing wildlife habitats in urban green spaces. You can create new paths through green spaces and open up a world of connection to nature for others. You can turn grey to green by laying hedges, removing litter, planting meadows and building ponds.
Choose environmental volunteering in Scotland in 2025 and join our team to make it a year of connecting, protecting and restoring nature.
