At TCV we have a Skills and Knowledge framework to understand and share the organisational skills required to achieve our strategy and goals.   Listed below you can see a summary of the framework that we use to recruit and reward our staff and to deliver learning solutions to grow the knowledge and skills of people in TCV to increase their value to the organisation:

Is about creating a culture and practices that respect, value and harness difference for the benefit of the organisation and individuals, and operating with honesty, a respect for others and conviction to high standards and ethics

Understanding TCV’s Products and Markets

Understanding our products and services, how they fit different customer needs and matching them to the customer’s requirements, as well as understanding the marketplace including funders, competitors, professional bodies and using this knowledge to gain a competitive advantage

Managing Change and Innovation

Is about handling and/or leading change and the impact on people, process, organisation, volunteers and customers and encouraging ideas and innovation to achieve TCV’s goals and create the best possible customer and volunteer experience.

Communicating Effectively

Being able to pass on messages and information to different audiences in the most effective ways, considering both the needs of the audience and the nature of the information being passed on, as well as creating genuine employee engagement.


Understanding TCV and the Strategy

Understanding TCV as a whole and how the various parts of TCV fit together, using that knowledge to work effectively as well as understanding the strategy and how to translate the strategy and goals into action.

The knowledge and skills needed to consider, evaluate, decide and implement the best solutions for TCV and its customers.
