Freemasons help TCV train NEETs.
Warmest thanks to the Freemasons’ Grand Charity for helping young people Not in Education Training or Employment – NEETs – in Cornwall and Yorkshire. This national body has given TCV £20,000 to help 16-19 year olds gain skills to progress to jobs in land management.
TCV has a long track record of training disadvantaged young people, with great results. The grant of £10,000 to Camborne, Cornwall, will allow extra one-to-one time with trainees and increased linkage with local employers.
The Wakefield grant, also £10,000, will provide a special ‘pre-course’ for those needing a higher level of support to help them progress.
