TCV is proud to announce a new 3-year partnership with RBS; delivering the Team Challenge employee volunteering initiative.
Over the next 3 years, an incredible 18,000 employees from the bank will volunteer with TCV right across the UK, generating over 126,000 hours of practical impact and helping TCV to manage, transform and develop over 180 green spaces in the heart of our communities.
Following on from last year’s 10th anniversary of TCV and RBS successfully working together, which has seen over 16,500 RBS employees volunteering, this new three-year commitment will continue to support the bank’s employees and TCV to create healthier, happier communities for everyone.
Since 2007 the bank’s employees from across the UK have undertaken vital conservation projects. Together they have helped to deliver hundreds of projects which make a difference for thousands of people in local communities every single day of the year.
Green spaces play an absolutely vital role in any healthy, happy community. As they come under increasing pressure, during tough economic times, it’s vital that we do everything we can to protect them for people and nature. We’re enormously grateful for RBS’s generous support over the next three years which will see them working with TCV, alongside local communities, to transform a huge number of green spaces across the UK.
TCV CEO Darren York
Working together, TCV provides RBS employees with the opportunity to contribute energy, skills and time to their local community and supports them in becoming a more engaged, healthy and inclusive workforce.
At RBS we’re very proud of our eleven-year partnership with TCV. We’re delighted to be entering into this new three-year contract which will lead to even more RBS employees working with TCV to enhance the green spaces in our local communities.
