What do I need to bring?

Before you first attend a TCV volunteering day we will ask you to have completed our New Volunteer form, so please get in touch so we can email this to you to complete before hand- this will include anything we need to ensure your safety and your emergency contact information.

Bring along a packed lunch and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, if you would like to borrow boots, wellies or waterproofs please let us know. We provide all tools, gloves and hot water for tea and coffee along with biscuits.

A trained leader is on site each day and a site/tool talk will be given to ensure you understand what the tools are, what they are used for and how to do this safely as well as what the task entails and how we will complete it as a team.

If you would like an informal chat about volunteering with us contact us on 0161 962 9409.
