Two projects run from our Bristol office, the ‘Bristol Conservation Volunteers’ sessions run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and ‘Lockleaze Green Gym’ sessions run on Thursdays.
Common tasks include tree planting, bench construction, hedge planting, clearance work, step building, bramble bashing, path construction, bridge building, coppicing, pond clearance, hedge laying, fencing, wildlife gardens and much more!
As well as working in Bristol, the Bristol Conservation Volunteers occasionally works in parts of Gloucestershire and Somerset too. A lift is normally available to and from the worksite and Bristol. However, it is advised you let the Project Officer know which tasks you wish to attend.
‘Lockleaze Green Gym’ runs on Thursdays and all activities take place in areas local to Lockleaze in North Bristol. Unfortunately, we cannot offer lifts for this project.
We frequently add new projects to this programme as and when they’re arranged; this is often done at short notice, so do check back frequently.
