Tuckswood Food Growing Project

You are here

Welcome to TCV in Tuckswood and Lakenham, where we run healthy walks and a food growing project.  You can join in with either or both!

Starting at lunchtime, have fun joining TCV Norwich's FREE healthy ‘Wildlife Walks’ - throughout Lakenham & Tuckswood’s beautiful green spaces. These friendly and gentle (slow paced) ‘Wildlife Walks’ are accessible to all and allow for frequent stops - to observe and identify local flora and fauna.  Volunteers can look forward to exploring the following south city green spaces: the nature corridor of Lakenham Way, Danby Park & Woods, Marston Marshes & Cooper Wood, sometimes with guest wildlife Experts to help us out with identifying specific groups of plants and animals.

Walks meet every Monday (Except Bank Holidays) at 12.30pm on Tuckswood Green, Tuckswood, Norwich, NR4 6DB. Please note that toilet facilities are only available at the end of the walk at 2pm - when we round off this session with tea and cake at Harford Community Centre.

To book your free place on these sessions and for more info, please email/ call: zara.gardner@tcv.org.uk/ 01603 274512 / 07920 205467
