TCV Lowestoft

This exciting and much needed project in Lowestoft includes work across fascinating sites.

Including a town centre hanging garden, which is currently a closed off dumping ground. We are opening up this site, tackling the rubbish/ fly-tipping there, restoring habitats and historic features. The project aims to connect the people of Lowestoft with this green space on their doorstep, facilitating community food growing and events! We are also assisting local community centre land and supporting green space and community connection while enhancing biodiversity at Oulton Broad.

Our sessions are fantastic exercise, doing as much as you are able in a friendly atmosphere. Connecting with nature is incredibly beneficial for mental wellbeing and you will see what a difference you are making. All are welcome to join us in creating a greener more biodiverse Lowestoft for wildlife and people.

If you are interested in getting involved, please get in touch! You can email: Bex.cross@tcv.org.uk.
