Come and find out what is really going on at the Skelton Grange Research Centre, where strange sightings, missing people and terrifying noises have been reported….
Staff and volunteers at Skelton Grange, a popular Leeds education centre and nature area, have been sensing something is amiss as Halloween is approaching. Curious substances, disturbing noises, people in lab coats with clip boards and shadowy figures are all causing concern at the normally fun environment centre. To get things back to the way they were, families with older children, groups of friends – or even very intrepid individuals – are invited to take part in an exciting, if rather scary, evening of interactive adventure to find out what is really happening.
On Halloween or the following Friday night, you and your small party can set off on a trail of clues in the dark, dark woods, with challenges and strange people awaiting you! You will be following an outdoor trail, which the Skelton Grange staff will make as safe as possible – but from what folk have seen in recent days, there are very likely to be zombies in the area and other potentially alarming experiences.
For adventurers’ safety and to ensure everyone comes back, alive or living dead, numbers are limited to a maximum of 5 per group – though you can book to set off with someone you trust close behind you! When purchasing tickets, you can select a time slot between 6pm and 8pm, and the cost of £10 per person will include a hot vegetarian or carnivorous sausage sandwich – should you make it back in one piece….. You have to take full responsibility for following instructions and need to be very sure that this is something you and the members of your party want to experience!!! Children must be accompanied by an adult (who may well find they are very glad of the company).
All the funds raised will support the charitable work of The Conservation Volunteers at Skelton Grange Environment Centre. Scary, fun and a great cause – what's not to like?
