Our Environment, Our Future is a Big Lottery funded portfolio that will see £30m being invested across the UK to support young people (aged 11-24) to improve their local environments.
We are proud to announce that we are part of a consortium, led by the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts, supporting this work. Together, we're looking for 25-35 projects to make up the portfolio, each receiving funding of around £750,000 to £1 million.
These projects must scale-up or replicate a previous successful approach. Please visit www.wildlifetrusts.org/ourenvironmentourfuture to find out how you can get involved.
TCV is excited to be part of this consortium and its drive to connect young people with their environment and all the benefit this brings to both people and places.
We are committed to using our passion for the outdoors to help create and sustain engagement between young people, their surroundings and the communities in which they live.
A successful Our Environment Our Future programme will offer young people the opportunity to learn and experience the health and wellbeing benefits of being part of a team that practically improves valuable outdoor places and creates new and long lasting connections. OEOF is a great opportunity for young people to show the value they add to their communities.
