We are in the final stages of fundraising for The Roundhouse, a much needed building at the heart of TCV Hollybush in Leeds.
Currently don’t have all the funds to build a beautiful, light, accessible, energy efficient building which our enthusiastic and committed volunteers deserve.
The Roundhouse will be a place that our volunteers can gather to discuss the day ahead before heading out in all weathers to countryside projects across West Yorkshire. It will provide a much needed meeting space for our visitors, therapeutic Garden Groups and course trainees. It will be an accessible meeting and training room for our mental health peer support groups. And of course a warm place for our volunteers to enjoy a well deserved break. These all currently take place outside, in the unheated barn or under a gazebo, which isn’t ideal particularly in winter.
With your help we hope to raise the roof and achieve the final £20,000 to provide this much needed warm, dry and welcoming space.
The Roundhouse will be available for one off and regular use by any group wanting a lovely meeting place or who want to use the Hollybush grounds for environmental education, photography, or just a peaceful place to be. This will enable and encourage more people of all ages and abilities to make use of our fantastic site and allow us to support more people effectively.
So if you can, please make a donation and support your local charity. Every donation no matter how big or small will help us to reach our target and we can build a vibrant welcoming area for the whole community to enjoy.
