We are delighted to be working in the wildflower meadows, woodland and wetlands which stretch along the River Crane, marking the Pevensey Road London Nature Reserve, dedicated to the late local naturalist Peter Cribb. We are responsible for coppicing, meadow management, woodland management and native flower planting in this magnificently diverse green space of 10.2 hectares.
This year, Pevensey Road Green Gym volunteers have worked extensively to open up a path to the river that had become so overgrown it was impassable. Local residents and visitors to the reserve are now able to wander with ease. Volunteers have also been raking the wildflower meadow, coppicing and bridge building to increase biodiversity in this ecologically important nature corridor. We are excited about further improving this space for wildlife and the community.

TCV is working throughout Hounslow in partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow, Hounslow Health and Wellbeing, Hounslow Homes and FORCE.
