The Friends of Hollybush support the work TCV Hollybush through events and fundraising.
FoHB is an inclusive volunteer group, a mixture of current and past TCV/Hollybush volunteers and staff,and individuals from the local community.
The Friends of Hollybush committee meets 4 times a year. By joining the committee and attending these meetings, members gain the opportunity to influence the direction of FoHB and generate ideas for future activities and events.
There are lots of other ways to help too, such as publicity or the running of events, assisting with fundraising, or perhaps by contributing some crafting skills. Some of the activities that Friends of Hollybush have helped with over the last couple of years include
- Running activities for children at TCV Hollybush events and organising fundraising seasonal kids sessions.
- Creating sustainable Christmas decorations for the Christmas Fair.
- Making jams and preserves to sell and helping with food preparation at events.
- Identifying small funding opportunities.
