Practical Conservation Work

We are skilled in all types of hands-on environmental conservation projects and specialise in managing teams of volunteers to take on challenging projects in both rural and urban green spaces.

  • Hedgelaying
  • Coppicing
  • Invasive species management
  • Fencing
  • Footpaths & Access
  • Ponds & dipping platforms
  • Habitat management (woodlands, wildflower meadows etc.)
  • Dry stone walling

...and more

As the UK's leading practical conservation charity, the work we do goes much further than solely improving our natural environment for people and wildlife. By training and up-skilling volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and working within community spaces we encourage social development and cohesion too.
