TCV is delighted to receive £400,000 in funding from players of People's Postcode Lottery, to support our volunteering programmes in community green spaces.
This funding will help us to transform even more of Great Britain’s precious green spaces, improving the natural environment whilst enhancing local people’s health and wellbeing and sharing new skills and knowledge.
Thanks to the fantastic support of players of People's Postcode Lottery even more charities are now receiving support with over £250 million awarded to good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
We will be able to lead even more conservation activities, supporting volunteers to create, protect and improve green spaces to benefit nature and the local community – bringing people and places together to create healthier and happier communities for everyone.
Clara Govier, Head of Charities at People's Postcode Lottery, said, "Our players tell us regularly that they sign up because People's Postcode Lottery is a fun way to support good causes, with a minimum of 31% of the ticket price going to charities. As People's Postcode Lottery continues to grow, this enables us to support even more good causes and we’re delighted that TCV will now join us as a supported charity."
