The Conservation Volunteers Christmas Appeal – launching on #GivingTuesday 2nd December 2014
The Conservation Volunteers are taking part in #GivingTuesday which is a global movement to create an international day of giving. In the same way that retailers take part in Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we want the millions of people in the UK to come together and demonstrate their commitment in supporting our Christmas appeal.
Christmas Appeal 2014
With your donation we can plant at least 5,000 new trees, to make a real difference for people, health and wildlife.
Your gift of just £10 today could buy much-needed tools
Our volunteers need the right tools and equipment to do the job properly. Your Christmas donation could get spades, loppers, trowels and wheelbarrows where they're needed.
£25 buys materials for an education session
It's vital that we get our children joining in and thinking about conservation as early as possible. A £25 donation pays for vital education materials.
Your £100 buys over 60 saplings
When we rejuvenate woodlands like the ones in Hull, we plant tree saplings fitted with special guards to protect them from the elements and animals. A donation of £100 will pay for over 60 saplings.
Text Giving – To donate £10 by SMS, text XMAS to 70444
Whether it's making a donation, volunteering your time or just spreading the word, #GivingTuesday is a call to action for everyone who wants to give something back in support of TCV.
Get Involved on Giving Tuesday
However you decide to support us on this national day of giving, we work to ensure that your love of trees and green spaces can be shared with communities across the UK and by generations to come. Thank you.
