A recent theft of lead from the roof at our charity shop on Ecclesall Road resulted in a deluge of rain water to our display window area.
Once we had recovered from the shock of the theft and had the roof repaired Denisa our shop manager was left with a very discoloured and damp wall on the main side window.
But all was not lost, Graeme Atkinson one of our amazing volunteers isn’t only brilliant at managing donations, helping on the till and doing anything else he can to help…he is also an amazing artist!
Graeme offered to repaint the wall in his own time, and he wasn’t proposing any boring old beige scheme!
Instead he proposed abstract trees to create a stunning backdrop for our window displays; it took Graeme over 4 days to do the window and it looks absolutely fantastic, with lots of customers commenting on how cool it looks.
So, thanks Graeme for a great job done..Much appreciated by Denisa and all at TCV
