TCV are joining in with National Fitness Day on Wednesday 7th September - a day which will see a huge range of free events and taster sessions take place across the country.
As part of National Fitness Day, people across the country will be given access to gyms, health clubs, leisure centres and park sessions throughout the UK. With thousands of free events on offer, the aim is to inspire people to get moving while making it easy and fun to try something new.
This year will also see thousands of schools & workplaces involved, providing an opportunity for the whole family to get active.

Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Chair of National Fitness Day organiser ukactive said: “National Fitness Day is a powerful tool to raise the profile of physical activity and the role it plays in increasing the health of our nation. By engaging people across the country we can help provide a pathway into continued involvement in physical activity."
National Fitness Day is a fantastic initiative and TCV centres up and down the country will be holding activities to help get the country active. TCV are a community volunteering charity and working to create healthier and happier communities for everyone is at the heart of what we do, so we are delighted to be taking part in such a great nationwide scheme.
