The opportunity to get outside and make a difference has never been greater and we offer a wide range of environmental activity for people to protect and enhance our local greenspaces and biodiversity whilst also learning new skills, getting fitter, engaging with your environment and meeting other like-minded people. Our diverse programmes include:
Conservation Volunteering: Volunteer teams provide local people with the opportunity to get involved in tasks as varied as pond clearance and tree planting; path construction and invasive plant removal; step building and fencing.
Green Gyms: Outdoor conservation and gardening activities but with an emphasis on the health and fitness of those taking part.
Corporate Volunteering: A tailored, team-building project enabling groups of employees to get involved in hands-on practical conservation and environmental work, to improve greenspaces for biodiversity and the local community.
Young People: Delivering programmes that provide young people with training, qualifications and work experience to develop the skills and experience that enable them to gain and maintain employment, with particular emphasis on the land-based sector.
