Get More Involved

The difference between TCV and many organisations is that with TCV you can end up being in charge!

When you volunteer with TCV you can choose to become more involved than just turning up at the worksite.

You can be involved in:

  • organising projects
  • leading projects
  • developing how we run projects
  • supporting and promoting the organisation

Here’s how you can be more involved

Become a Volunteer Officer

An opportunity to get training and practical experience – using your own time to shadow experienced staff, and take on roles with real responsibility – including leading projects and supporting groups of volunteers working in green spaces.

Become a Key Volunteer

A chance to use or develop your skills, giving a commitment to TCV to support our work in green spaces and local communities. Your role will provide valuable support to help us run our projects.

If you’re going to be working with young or vulnerable people, we’ll need to make checks with the Criminal Records Bureau, and we may need references too.
