Would you like to get involved with The Conservation Volunteers at Hollybush?
No experience is required and you can volunteer as much or as little as you like. You’ll learn new skills and meet new people.
Hollybush offers a huge range of volunteering opportunities and wellbeing activities that connect people and green spaces for the benefit of both. Please email for our current volunteering timetable. We offer site tours for anyone who is interested in volunteering or just curious about what we do, and can provide one-to-one support to register as a volunteer.
Email hollybush@tcv.org.uk or call 0113 274 2335 for further information on joining a group or activity.
Below you’ll find a list of upcoming activities for registered volunteers. Those listed in green are run by our Health and Wellbeing Team, Practical Team volunteering is highlighted in brown, Learning and Skills opportunities are red, and our public events – open to all – are marked in orange. We also run the Hollybush Project 4 days a week which provides nature-based activities for adults with learning disabilities.
As well as our structured volunteering opportunities we also welcome enquires from volunteers that want to support others to get the most out of the volunteering experience, or support the running of the centre.

Become a Volunteer Officer
We are currently recruiting Volunteer Officers! To apply, please request an application form by emailing hollybush@tcv.org.uk
Being a Volunteer Officer is a role with real responsibility, that might appeal to both people with experience to share, and those seeking to gain more. Opportunities are flexible and can fit around work or study commitments and the things you wish to get out of the experience, whether that’s getting more involved with your community or vocational experience to enhance your employability. You will have the opportunity to develop you own leadership and project management skills, and as well as valuable practical experience with an organisation recognised for its quality by employers in the environmental field.
