Other volunteering opportunities

Norwich Community Green Gym no longer run any activities directly. However many of the group continue to work regularly at Mousehold Heath, and below are some of the many volunteering opportunities available in Norwich and you’d be made very welcome at any or all of them.

Mondays 1-4pm Tuckswood Food Growing Project

Meet at the Tuckswood Centre, by the new raised beds in the green space in front of the Co-op.  Growing, cooking and eating your own-grown veg!  Contact Zara on 01603 274 512 or via zara.gardner@tcv.org.uk

Mondays 1-4pm in 2019 - March 25th, April 15th and 29th, May 27th, June 17th, 24th, July 1st, 8th and 22nd, Aug 5th and 19th: Mousehold Heath

Meet at the car park below Zaks on Gurney Road (opposite the bandstand) NR1 4HW.  Tasks will continue fortnightly in future months, dates to be confirmed.

Norwich Fringe Project

Working with many 'Friends Of' groups (including West Earlham Woods, Danby Wood, Bracondale, Old Library Wood) and running their own volunteer days all around Norwich.  https://norwichfringeproject.wordpress.com

Friends of Eaton Park 

2 hour sessions monthly March-October.  For details see their website

Every other Wednesday 10am - 12 noon: Ketts Heights

The site is on the south of Ketts Hill at NR1 4EX. This is near St James Hill and Spitalfields where we have worked before. Go in and follow the path to the viewpoint.
