Visit Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park

The inner boardwalk area of the park and the gatehouse are open to the public on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Opening times are 10am to 5pm. Visits are free and there’s no need to book ahead. We are also open on the following Bank Holidays – 21st April (Easter Monday), Monday 5th May and Monday 26th May. Note that access to the inner park is through the Gatehouse – the wooden building situated alongside the Thames Path.

The outer boardwalk remains closed for major repairs and alterations to help the park cope with the increased density of development in the surrounding area.  We have received planning permission to connect the outer boardwalk to the inner boardwalk via a new bridge that will allow the entire boardwalk network to be open only when the park is wardened – better for wildlife and a better experience for visitors.
