Mayor of London Tree Giveaway – #TreesforLondon

Young tree

The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) is working with the Mayor of London to give away 31,000 trees for London this autumn. Community groups can order a free tree planter pack online for planting in a community green space.

TCV is also handing out free rowan trees from selected sites (see where you can pick them up below) for individuals to take away and plant. We’d love to chat with you in person and you can find out a little more about our charitable work with volunteers, improving community green spaces across London!

When you come to plant your trees, please don’t forget to share your tree-planting pictures using the #TreesforLondon hashtag and tagging @TCVtweets, @LDN_environment and @MayorofLondon on Twitter!

Thank you for helping to make London a greener city and visiting some of our beautiful green spaces TCV help to manage. The work to maintain these sites is undertaken by volunteers and we’re always looking for new volunteers to help with activities like tree planting.

We have projects for children, schools, corporate volunteers and those looking to improve the environment and get fit at the same time! Find your local project.
