For over 25 years TCV in Manchester and Merseyside have been providing rewarding volunteering opportunities to all who want to get involved in practical conservation work to improve our local green spaces.
Tasks are varied and seasonal and offer people a chance to get practically involved in environmental protection along with making new friends, seeing new sites and working as part of a team to achieve something for both people and wildlife.
We provide fully trained leaders who have First Aid qualifications and can give you all the support you need throughout your time volunteering with us.

Green Gyms
Improve your health and the environment at one of our Green Gyms, in our region we currently have the Countess of Chester Country Park Green Gym in Chester. Green Gyms offer a unique opportunity to get involved and help transform local green spaces while learning new skills.
Green Gym sessions are open to all volunteers, regardless of experience or levels of fitness. A variety of activities will allow volunteers to rotate between tasks, try out different tools and work at their own pace. Experienced leaders will start and finish each session with a few minutes of gentle warm-up exercises and cool-down stretches to get muscles warmed up and reduce the risk of injury.
