Welcome to TCV in Norfolk: working with local communities to improve their environment.
Projects are open to everyone over 16 (16-18 with parental permission) regardless of background, and no previous experience or specialist knowledge is necessary. We provide tools, equipment and experienced leaders. However, as well as this, we now have practical conservation activities running for 12-19 year olds around the Watton area, please see the first link below for more details of these school holiday projects in the February half-term and Easter holidays.
Are you in the Thetford area? If so, we are running a series of conservation days in your town in March. Follow the link below for Norwich Environmental Action Team for more details (activity dates March 2nd, 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st) or contact debbie via email@example.com or call 01603 274 512.
Please note that unfortunately Norwich Community Green Gym no longer directly run any activities. However members of the group are still working together on a number of projects - there are plenty of other conservation volunteering opportunities available in Norwich and you’d be made very welcome at any or all of them. For more information about these opportunities please see the "Other Norwich Volunteering Opportunities" link below or contact Mark Webster via firstname.lastname@example.org or 07843 069 567.
On the plus side, please see the second link below for our brand new project has started on Wednesday afternoons in North Walsham, working mainly on old railway lines to restore historic station buildings and butterfly habitats! Please see the second link below for more details, or contact Mark Webster on 07843 069 567 or via email@example.com if you might be interested in this area.
Check out the links below to find out what's going on all over Norfolk. This includes our own directly-managed projects and independent community groups. Projects run all-year round unless otherwise stated.
