TCV’s WildSkills trainees have had a couple of varied months, including tackling seasonal tasks such as meadow management and balsam control (thanks to Eva for a fantastic explanation why this work is important), cooking ‘homegrown’ food from a jetty on the River Thames, and leading groups of school children in fun, educational sessions.…Until midday 29th April, our supporters can double their impact!
Huge thanks to the Big Give and the Garfield Weston Foundation, every donation to TCV will be doubled helping more primary school children enjoy a Wild Day Out in nature. From pond dipping and mini beast hunting to seed planting and wildlife spotting, these experiences help children build confidence and a lasting connection with the natural world.
